SPECIALTY PROJECTS
Specialty metal projects are our team favorites. We love the challenges these projects bring, and we're ready with the industry's latest innovations. We've been forging, pounding, bending, welding, and polishing metal for over 120 years. Today we're designing and installing projects such as metal utility trailers, welding sheds, pipeline clamp, stainless steel containers, Boom Vane, Ulu Blades for native knifemaking cooperatives, and sculptures like the Basset Army Hosptial memorial.
With our new Waterjet Cutting System the metal possibilities are endless. This machine can cut virtually any shape in a single step with superior edge quality. It is the most productive solution for cutting materials from 1/16 inch to over 8 inches thick for high volume or short-run work.
ALYESKA PIPELINE
The 800-mile-long Alyeska Pipeline is one of the largest pipeline systems in the world. It stretches from Prudhoe Bay on Alaska’s North Slope, through rugged and beautiful terrain, to Valdez. Since the pipeline startup in 1977, the Alyeska Pipeline Service Company has successfully transported over 15 billion barrels of oil.
As part of the Alyeska Pipeline Jacketing Upgrade, HOLADAY-PARKS fabricated and installed variations of expansion band covers and module cap flashings. These covers and flashings were not only installed to protect the pipeline from corrosion, but to cost-effectively maintain the pipeline and protect Alaska’s wilderness. HOLADAY-PARKS worked closely with the owner to locate specific metals, and also developed custom tooling equipment for the unique sheet metal specifications.
To date, HOLADAY-PARKS have fabricated more than 750,000 pounds of product for this client and miles of pipeline jacketing for Alyeska’s subcontractors.
