History of Holaday-Parks

history 600

Holaday-Parks was founded in 1889, and in 1897 brought warmth to the bone-chilled adventurers who roamed the Klondike in pursuit of gold. Our much appreciated contribution to the Alaska gold rush was an ingenious airtight sheet-iron heater that circulated heat around a bread oven in the middle of a stovepipe.

129 years later, Holaday-Parks is one of the largest mechanical contractors in the nation, managing some of the most prestigious and challenging mechanical contracting projects in both Washington and Alaska, from new construction to retrofit to service.
