HOLADAY-PARKS is committed to creating a “culture” of safety on every project. It’s our goal for our employees to Live SAFE and Work SAFE because a safe place to work means going home to your family safe. We’ve been Building Comfort for over 118 years and part of that longevity is never leaving safety to chance. We understand the importance of a safe environment and its effect on project costs, and more importantly the serious consequences for the workers and their families.
The foundation of the Live SAFE—Work SAFE program is quick response to safety issues, onsite safety walks, and up-to-date training as well as equipping our teams with the most appropriate in safety gear. Our safety processes are built on experience and strategically designed to work at prevention; including pre-task planning, regularly scheduled safety visits and consultations, safety training, safety awards, and safety feedback. HOLADAY-PARKS has a dedicated Safety Officer that manages and assists the foremen in scheduling training classes in the field including topics such as: Fork Lift, Scissor Lifts/JLGs, Material Handling , Scaffold Use, Ladder Use and Inspection, Fall Protection; PPE use, wear and inspection, Confined Space, and any other topic that needs to be covered.
HOLADAY-PARKS is a member of Washington Drug Free Businesses, SNAP (Sheet Metal Northwest Anti-Drug Program), WCISAP (Washington Construction Industry Substance Abuse Program), MCA Safety Council, the Dream Team, SMACNA Safety Council and also participates in the Puget Sound Area Safety Summit and the Seattle and Vicinity Construction Safety Council.
