HP was the full-service mechanical contractor for this historic steam plant facility and for the adjacent building at Nelson Site directly across the street. The 113,000 square foot project consisted of laboratory and office space as well as “controlled” and “critical” spaces. 9th & Stewart Life Sciences Building - Seattle, WA (Children's Hospital Research Facility) Designed and installed the mechanical and plumbing systems for this 11-story, 215,00 square foot biopharmaceutical research facility. The building features systems designed to accommodate an air change rate of 20 air changes per hour, 1,600 tons of cooling capacity, 600 boiler horsepower of heating capacity, and floor-to-floor mechanical rooms with removable louvers. All mechanical systems were designed with LEED in mind. The facility houses mixed laboratory and office space, GMP suite, kitchen, conference rooms, and reception area. UW William H. Foege Building - Seattle, WA Fabricated and installed the mechanical systems for this premier genome and bioengineering sciences facility on the University of Washington campus. The 265,000 square foot building consists of state-of-the-art research laboratories, office space, and conference rooms BACK to our Main Portfolio
