We self-performed wet-side and dry-side mechanical construction services for this 364,000 sq ft office building with one level of below-ground parking. Ground level consists of a 300-seat cafeteria, auditorium, data center, and related public and back-of-house spaces. Levels two and three have office and conference spaces, constructed on raised floors, level four houses the penthouse conference area.
The Nintendo project had several requirements to build a truly "world class" facility. Using lean construction practices, we were able to reduce the initial mechanical construction budget by more than $4 million while still garnering over $440,000 in conservation grants from Puget Sound Energy and helping the project achieve LEED Gold.
