Preconstruction to Construction

We collaborate with our customers to design and produce optimum mechanical systems that provide comfort, efficiency, and sustainability. Our Preconstruction Approach includes

  • Assessing the site building systems and building technologies
  • Determining critical environments
  • Discussing Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing schematic design and coordination
  • Analyzing energy and cost savings and value-engineering options
  • Finalizing a project schedule that identifies key roles and deliverables
  • Establishing a logistics plan that covers safe transportation of materials to and from work areas

Our Engineers, CAD Professionals, and Detailers are involved in the early stages of Preconstruction. Utilizing the latest versions of construction software and tools (Revit, Navisworks, and Trimble) allows us to coordinate with our shops and other subcontractors, and determines potential issues and solutions throughout the project life cycle. Once system designs are finalized, we hand them over to our onsite shops, which fabricate, assemble, and package our products for transportation to the Construction sites.

We house a 20,000 square foot shop onsite at our Pacific Northwest location in Tukwila, WA, and a 7,200 square foot shop onsite at our Fairbanks, AK location. Having our own in-house Engineers, CAD Professionals, Detailers, and Shops enable a smooth transition into the Construction Phase, resulting in

  • Reduced costs associated with assembly, packaging, and transportation
  • On-time delivery and installation
  • Limited site assembly
  • Reduced potential safety issues
